What's the diff between Dual Shock and DS2 Controllers?

There is no disadvantage if I continue to use my Dual Shock instead of breaking out the Dual Shock 2?

Except that the colour doesn't match my PS2 as well of course.

hmmm

I just read that 4 face buttons, the 4 triggers and the D-pad are all "analog" on the DS2.
They have 255 different positions depending on how hard you press them.

*plays with the buttons on his DS2*
*plays with the buttons on his non-DS2*

They feel exactly the same to me :-\

I'm confused.

The four main buttons and the shoulder buttons are analog on the DS2. I don't think the d-pad is analog though. If you play games like Gran Turismo 3, Madden/NCAA football, or even The Bouncer, you'll notice that the buttons do react differently by how hard you press them. They may feel the same, but internally, they are different.

Other than that, it's just the 2 :p

I do notice you can control the throttle SLIGHTLY on GTA VC, but it's not easy like it is on the shoulder buttons on the GCN controller.
