Some great tunes there.

Friday I'm in love.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa2nLEhUcZ0

Thanks.

It's funny but I actually thought of putting The Kiss in there, but in the end analysis I thought the Cure didn't rate on any one song. The rest of those songs changed me somehow, and seemed to change the way many people listened to music. The Jane's Addiction had the most influence on me personally, and the U2 resonated with the most people. Other people are probably more correct for our era by listing something that was in a John Hughes film, but that wasn't my culture. It's an elusive goal, but fun to think about.

Sorry, I don't like any of them, there was some good '90's music, REM was good then, Smithereens, Everclear as well. The dance thing seemed to emulate C+C music factory for the most part. I grew up in the '70's but just because "Disco Duck" was a hit doesn't mean that was the relevant music of the era LOL..

I didn't said those tunes were meant to be good nor that they were the relevant music of the era. They were just extremely popular back in the days just like Biber is nowadays or other one hit wonders.

I was born in 73' and graduated HS in 91' so i got the 80's which i didnt listen to much at the time and 90s grunge. So Pearl Jam, Nirvana, G&R, Metallica were big near the end of HS. Not sure on a song to define it though. I know when crusing in HS we wore our 3 "tapes" of G&R in the car though LOL
