What's the deal with the new Steam skin?

Now every time I go into a games page I have horizonatal scroll bars to deal with smh...

The old skin didn't do this.

Anybody know a fix?

Why did you circle the vertical drag bar?

Also, what is it you want to fix? You want to remove the drag bars? There's more information not shown in that window, so removing any drag bars will not let you see those other items.

Like the other poster said, enlarge your steam client (bottom right corner of the window).

BTW, your real name appears to be showing in the steam client. Not sure if that's something you care about or not.

Can't you open Steam, size the window how you want it, close it manually (instead of having it close automatically when you shutdown/restart), and have it remember the size?
