Seems like it's going to have some inappropriate content for the age group of kids who play with barbie dolls.

At the same time, the solution is simply not to watch it, rather than trying to go all cancel-culture on it.

It'd be a hoot if someone got ahold of a screener, and released a pron parody of it before it even hit the box office.

Barbie is freaking PG-13? WTF? Do they not know their audience age?? Hope this movie bombs hardcore.

Why the heck is the Barbie movie showing a maps like this? Are they trying to show the child labor sweatshops where they their products are manufactured? :D Honestly, it has nothing to do with the story and they are obviously trying to appeal to a certain market by catering to them to increase viewership. Very weird all around.

I'm not a barbie fan at all, but I still kinda wanna watch it, at least a few minutes to see what it really is. I don't mean box office prices, it'll turn up on youtube or elsewhere eventually and I'm not in a hurry.

Well to be honest it's not really the image. It has more to do with what the image implies. What ever that is apparently Ted Cruz and the country of Vietnam do not care for that implication.

Ted Cruz is an asshole who is full of shit. The movie Top Gun which righties applauded had a Chinese edit version.

He needs to shut the hell up and the Texas electrical grid fixed.

It’s Barbie’s travel map…dashed lines are the routes Barbie has taken. She’s a toy, remember? The map being cried about exists in Barbieland…or whatever they call the toy world Barbie lives in. It’s not the real world.

My point is nothing can be determined by the map cause it's so shit. I'm to assume she drowned at sea since the dotted lines stop in the ocean?

Well of course it's a stupid movie. Barbie world vs real world. Morphed into real world. Naturally it will bring out the idiots like Ted Cruz. What else has Ted to do with his time? It's not like he is a productive member of congress or would even propose legislation to actually do good for the people. No, Ted is more concerned about a movie. A Hollywood fantasy. And I would assume Ted is obsessed with the Ken doll thing. I wonder how many Ken dolls Ted has in his collection? I wonder of any of them have pants?

Ryan Gosling is apparently solid in Barbie, he went through some shit to understand Ken, the fact that Ken is just an accessory in Barbie's world.

I'm interested in watching Barbie from a light hearted entertainment standpoint. I think people need good quality high production value movies that are not all Grimdark everything sucks.
