What's the deal with solid color towels and washcloths???

I mean, you buy them new and no matter how many times you wash them, they bleed dye when they get wet. I noticed that my gf had left a wet washcloth on the floor... I picked it up and there was a blue puddle underneath it from the dye that had seeped out of it. It's probably been washed 4+ times. (and you certainly can't wash those things with other colored clothes....SHEESH!)

My towels don't do that.
