i know theses are similiar to the 8500, which is faster and more expensive than 9000 and 9200. so, how come there is only 1 manufacturer (visiontek) for 9100? and for so cheap? its just $55. does anyone have this card?

im a newbie looking for value and reliability, this card looks nice for the price. just wondering if its a driver death trap.

I was looking at that same exact card until I found out about the Unreal2004/Nvidia Ti 4800se combo @mwave.com for ~$105 shipped. Since Unreal costs $40, I was in fact getting a much better deal then if I were to buy a 9100.

Wowzers! That IS a good deal!! And the 4800se is still a better card than the 4200 so ya'done good. ;)

You gotta' admit, $55 for the Radeon 8500/9100 (95% same thing, the 9100 has video de-blocking) is still a good deal too.
