Easier, faster, and no potential damage to just undo the pants. I mean, it is just one button. Heck, even if you wear a belt, it is one button + one pull on the belt.

I guess if you have a small penis and baggy underwear, you could potentially do it minimally faster. But I'm not in either of those categories.

I've never pulled my dick out the hole to take a piss. I didnt realize that was even common. I'd be concerned by errant droplets hitting the front of my pants if I had to work my dick through two flaps to get it back in my pants. I also dont want the zipper doing any chaffing. My penis and metal shouldnt ever come in contact.

I prefer to unbutton my pants than to slide the wang out through the flaps in underwear & pants. It's faster (for me at least) and it has some preventative value as far as after-drip and splash-back go. Oh yeah, not to mention it avoids the possibility of rubbing my second head on the teeth of the zipper (pain!).
