What's the deal with ninja swords?

Just wondering. I was up late the other night and saw those two guys selling all kinds of knives and stuff... Is that stuff collectable like baseball cards? What do you do with that many knives and swords? It kind of struck me as a little silly...

If any of you guys has any videos of you chopping something in half, post them, because that's cool. Otherwise, why do you have them?
 
i like to penetrate people with my sword....

i have a katana...its just cool to have...its not sharp at all though...
 
i once saw a video of those guys selling the katana on those shopping channels. he started banging it on the table to show how well built it was. the blade snapped and cut the guy and he crouched over it pain. it was focking hillarious.
 
The ones on QVC and the like that sell hundreds of knives in a set are for resellers. They're crap quality though.

I'm actually fully trained with a samurai sword. So I practice with mine occasionally. Pretty unique skill🙂

I have a pretty cheap but solid samurai sword. Keep it under my bed for the first person who decides to break into my apartment. (First thing I used it for was to chop veggies)

He watched a lot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a kid, apparently.
 
The only time i remember actually using mine was when i could not find my pocket knife and I did not want to have to go downstairs, so I used it to open my Everquest 2 box.
