Yes, he wanted to play for the giants...he says its because the chargers have no signs of wanting to improve and the team is run horribly...His father played on a team like this when he was a QB and says he doesnt want his son to have to do the same thing

i'd make that trade in a heartbeat. rivers is arguably better than eli to begin with, and eli sounds like a punk that i wouldn't want in the locker room anyway... last thing they need is another ryan leaf. add a whole ton of picks and hell yeah i'd take rivers.

I hope Eli Manning get's slammed to the ground really hard and has a terrible career. So many people would be so thankful just to get the opportunity to play pro football and also be the #1 pick. He would have gotten paid either way.

SD got the QB they wanted AND 3 additional draft choices, including a first rounder next year. i don't think any chargers fan should complain.

i think the steelers got quite the pick up in rothlesberger.
i think he will be the best QB out of this draft.
but, its just my opinion and remains to be seen.
