Whats the deal with being on the phone in the bathroom

I currently go to college four days a week. Id say probably 1 or 2 of those days per week you walk into the bathroom and there is someone standing there talking on the phone and looking in the mirror. What the heck is that? who wants a play by play of the bathroom experience? pssh.
 
in the mirror? try in the stall and at the urinal

seems to be a growing trend.

can't the person on the other end hear the splashing and dropping and stuff? it is a bit nasty
 
I always put my cell phone on vibrate when I am going to be in the restroom. That is a place where no one should be disturbed. I can't stand to hear someone talking on the phone while in there.

 
When I encounter someone talking on the phone while in the bathroom, I flush frequently. 🙂

Just so the person on the other end of the line knows that they're being talked to from the bathroom.

 
Whats the big deal? So what if the person is in the bathroom? Does that somehow make you dirty for talking on the phone with someone in the bathroom?

yeap i also make sure i grunt a lot when dropping the kids off at the pool.

exactly, personally i dont really care if they are on the phone in the john, but it just seems wierd to be on the phone while in/going to the bathroom. What about the home bathroom though, hmm i think thats a different story haha.

I do the same, phone is always on vibrate in the bathroom
 
It seems like a really rude and weird thing to do. You don't usually carry out conversations in a public restroom, on a cellphone or otherwise.
