Only Sony believes they are not competing with Nintendo. A parent or teenaged kid sees two console that come out at the same time and chooses between them. I briefly waited in line on the 17th, about 10 minutes, and heard two parents say almost the exact same thing... "My kids want both, but I'm not going to pay that much for a christmas present so I'm trying to get a Wii". The home entertainment device is just a delusion.

Yes, the people thinking of buying a low-demand PS3 and thinking it will still sell for 1000$ on ebay are insane.

ps3's are everywhere, tons of them. one lady at eb games told me she hasnt sold one in 4 days.

so i called toys r us pretty much immediately after i made this post, and they had JUST gotten their DHL delviery 5 minutes before i called with 16 wii's... so i raced over there and they had 14 left.. sweet deal i got one! bought an extra wiimote and zelda.. havent played much of zelda yet but the wii sports kicks a$$.. only thing i need now is another nunchuk and a wii classic controller they didnt have either of those in stock. lady said this was their christmas shipment but arrived late. good luck to ya'll
