What's the deal, Apps?

In the app store there are two sections for ipod touch apps and iphone apps?

Are they compatible?

Can I run the iphone apps on the touch? I can see that aGPS and audio in might not work.

Try, if it lets you install and run it, it'll work. I think most of the apps should work except for what you pointed out, assuming you have an internet connection.

I believe most Apps will run on both the iPod Touch and the iPhone. The only problems I see arising are those of the Apps that take advantage of the iPhone 3G specific hardware.

Exactly. All iPod Touch apps will work on the iPhone, but applications that require phone or GPS service (GPS not general location service) are limited to the iPhone.
