what's the condition to install mac os 9.0?are there specify certain brand mobo,video cards or memory chip to allow install that mac os 9.0?
i don't mind to erase my win me in my system in order to install it.pls tell me.thanks.

Mac OS version 8.1 & lower can be run on a PC, in emulation under Basilisk II. OS8.2 & higher require PowerPC CPU, although a PPC emulation for x86 cpu is supposed to be "in the works". MacOS 9 running on a PC (although slow) is likely possible, soon.

I believe you're speaking aboutOSX?

OS9 only runs on PPC Motorolla/IBM G3 and G4 processors.

Yeah, but you have to pay for iFusion. And I don't want to do that. 😉

I'm loving BasiliskII, though I can't seem to get some programs to work right. I'm using MacOS 8.1 on an emulated Quadra 640 and StuffIt Expander just refuses to load with some kind of error. Oh well. Nothing's perfect. 🙂

seem like install the Mac OS 9.0 isn't easy :-{
we have to prepare a lot of things before install this unique O.S.
Install windows O.S. is the easiest things to do.Don't you agree with me..? :-}
