What's the cmdline command to enter standby mode?

I want to create a shortcut to enter Standby mode directly. Anyone know what I need to do?

I don't want to power my monitor off completely with the power switch, but I also don't like auto-suspend/standby. I would prefer to do it when I know I'm done

Huh, this is an interesting question. I can appreciate why it would be useful. Apparently the shutdown command (type shutdown at a command prompt) doesn't support standby/hibernate etc. There doesn't even appear to be a windows API function that does this, so you couldn't even write a program to do it. Weird.
