What's the chipset on a Dell 6000? and does it do dual channel?

"It looks like the memory controller is not only 400 MHZ, but it is only single channel."

so if it's only a 400mhz bus single channel, then it's a 915gms. but if it does dual channel, then it's a 533mhz bus and uses the better 915gm chipset.

But how can i tell what i have in my Dell 6000?!

I already answered this. For a diamond member you don't listen well 😛
Download Everest Home Edition

Run it. Somewhere under the Motherboard section you SHOULD find the specific chipset. CPU-Z I think will also tell you

Sheesh 😛

edit Or MDE's suggestion will work just fine also
