monitors unless great ones never should ship 2nd hand.

I work for a fortune 400+, we are the central location for the infrastructure that's handled...I ship about 2 PC's a month....I deploy 10x that locally.

I can send a Dell GX270/280 pizza box for about $20? (accounting told me it's about $20 ground $40 2 day and $100 over night, I just ship slowest to get there when needed) east to west coast....it's 28lbs in a 20x20x12 box.

add the 17" and it gets insane considering you can buy a 17" CRT dirt cheap locally.

New 17" CRT will be under $75 for reasonable quality.

Shipping for an indivigual will be $20-$40 for a monitor

Therefore regarding a used monitor, it is not worth it for the buyer if they have to pay for shipping; Loss for seller to ship it.
