Whats the cheapest time of year to go to Vegas?

I'm in NY and looking for a nice 3-4 day weekend trip to vegas. just curious when the airfare is the cheapest.

thanks

I dunno if it's true, but the folks we traveled there with said it's cheaper to fly in on a Wednesday or Thursday and leave on a Tuesday. Which is what we were doin anyhow 🙂

a few years ago i went the week before xmas, when all the shows were closed or on a slight break before the xmas/new year rush, so the rooms were CHEAP beyond belief EVERYWHERE. i don't know about airfare though.

vegas rooms are cheapest sunday through thursday.

im going in the middle of september, and flying in thursday night and flying out monday afternoon. was pretty cheap for me.

Thats pretty typical of almost all flights.

Do not attempt to fly in on Fri/Sat or out on Sun. Highest airfares during those times.

However, you may be able to find some bargins if you adjust your times on those days.

The cost of lodging is highes over the week-end.

Temp today is 115/85

My buddies are planning to go again right before xmas, nice rooms under $100/night easy.

I'm heading out for 3 weeks end of Sept 😀 Won't be staying at hotel though as I've got lots of relatives there.

What's the lowest blackjack table they got there, $3?

How's the weather there in Sept/Oct?

Now is a great time due to extreme heat, though it is a dry heat. $10 blackjack tables can be found at major casinos.

$5 can also be found...

theres a $3 blackjack place on the strip too. its that cheesy one thats called the boardwalk?

Ugh. My cheap ass friends booked us rooms there when we went couple weeks ago. I hate that casino. Ghetto ass Motel 6 rooms. The only good things were the $2 shrimp cocktails. Boardwalk $3 blackjack table is continuous machine shuffle, worst ones to play. You're better off looking for a $10-$25 2-deck hand shuffle open deal table if you actually want to win.

Yeah, but with the high-end hotels all over it's getting more and more expensive.

I mean, come on. Off season Luxor for $120 a night? Get real. Luxor = teh Suxor.

I still love the Sands and the Trop. Both cheap, decent, and classic.
