I posted before that I wanted a tv under a $1000 but since my birthday is coming up My parents are to help me pay for the tv.🙂 So what's the cheapest sony hdtv can I buy?

get the samsung. sony is way overpriced. forget which model of samsung standard def digital tv it is, but they use the same tube for both standard and high def, so you just access the technical menu and switch it to HD mode.

I saw the Sony HDTV Model KV-36HS510 at Sears for $1200. This 36 inch model was by far the clearest picture of the bunch. It is worth the additional money - freaking super clear.

If you like Panasonic - Circuit City has a TAU 32 HDTV for $899.00. Of course, you can do a little research, do price matching, get 10% coupons here and there, and get the set for ubber cheap.

Invest your money to get a HD Receiver and Progressive Scan DVD player- also think about a TV Stand too. Right now, I am mad that I didn't get a set with DVI input.
