I need a cheap DDR board with onboard sound. I have a duron 700mhz that will do 1000mhz OC. Looking to unload my MSI pro2a to my friend for a DDR board. I also don't want to spend extra for an audio card since this will not be my main system(game box) so it would be nice to have onboard sound also, thanks. Btw, I understand I will need to tweak the multiplier to get the duron running at 133fsb.

most boards come with onboard sound anymore
run a search at pricewatch if you want the cheapest.

fic ad11 is around $110 if i remember right(good board)
and i think ecs has one for less then $80(not something i would want :) )

epox/asus/gigabyte/etc etc all have good ddr boards but they will cost more.

read through some of the posts on the forums if you want to learn more about them

Do yourself a favor and buy the EpoX 8k7a. I have one and the thing is the most stable piece of hardware that I have ever used. You can get it fairly cheap at newegg. The onboard sound is on par with other AC97 codecs.
