The ones that come to mind are the Volkswagen GTI and Jetta. Ford Crown Vic too.

Daewoo and Hyundia. I think I spelled Hyundia wrong though. But if you've gotta get one of these to get leather, DON'T GET LEATHER.

You can get leather in a fully loaded Focus ZTS, with leather, and 5 spd for about $16,900 USD retail. You could probably walk away with the car for about 15,500 USD.

For that amount you could get a 10 year old Mercedes Benz 560 SEC.

It cost $100,000 new and that engine can easily last for 300,000 miles. And yes, it has leather...

Keep in mind that the leather upholstry on most low- to mid-range cars is not very nice and more akin to vinyl in its feel and appearance. My Acura Integra GS-R sedan and Honda Accord V-6 EX both had some pretty nasty leather. My new Maxima SE also has leather - it is considerably softer and nicer than either of my last two cars but still not nearly as nice as, say, a Bimmer, much less a Mercedes or better. I would say leather is best avoided on cars below $25K or so.

Got any pics of a M-B 560SEC? The leather in the Maxima is just as good as the leather in a low-end BMW or ES300 (only other leather-equipped cars I've been in).

Mwilding Nice car, but not only would it kick my ass on gas but undoubtedly the repair bill would put me under!

They get 15-18 mpg, which sucks.

The repairs bills are a two sided coin. The car is extraordinarily reliable, but when you do happen to get a repair bill, it hurts.

One thing to note. Most MB's have a high capacity oil filter which contributes to the engine's long life. You change the oil less frequently, but pay for extra oil when you do.

The car in the picture above would probably go for $12 - 15,000. And that after your mechanic has looked at it and told you there are no mechanical issues.
