The government fucks up everything it does and theres no need to give them any more control over us, real or imagined.

Also the illegals are already stealing SSN's and such so its not like it matters.
Terrorists too. They come and go as they please. All a national ID would do is inconvenience or punish honest Americans, just like most other laws.

I really have no issue with Federal ID's or license's. its no diffrent then state id's

long as you don't need to carry them 24/7 and show them whenever asked..

It's a non-issue except to right wingers who are allergic to the Federal government doing anything.

As opposed to left wingers who need the federal government to hold their hand at every turn right?

Bottom line this that this is something the states handle just fine, no need for another big government program paid for by tax money that we don't have.

One big federal government program is cheaper than 50 big state government programs. Efficiencies of scale. One datacenter to maintain instead of 50.

What makes you think the states are going to close those agencies and fire all those people?

They would just convert them over to US ID's instead of issuing State ones I guess. Still would like to know how spending who knows how many millions to change over would benefit anyone more than keeping it the way it is.

DMV, at least in FL, handles ID's, so are we going to end up with a Federal DMV, yeah that wouldnt be a train wreck? And while I am all for states trimming the fat, I am not interested in the Fed growing theirs. System works just fine the way it is. Let the Fed concentrate on national defense and international relations and let the states handle the small stuff?

Lots of people do not have bank accounts over the table jobs bills etc and are fine.living under the radar humbly. I do not support putting these people into a system they want no part of. Plenty folks who would just rather be left alone by the suicidal mainstream society crap rat race. This place started as a landto get a fresh start doing your own thing.

What section of the Constitution gives the federal government the authority to initiate a national ID program?

Typical communist. They want to live like Robinson Crusoe "off grid" and expect everyone else to pay. That's why it fails & why we are broke.

They have power "To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization" and "To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers"

The establishment fails because it is flawed and corrupted by the top elites of society. Not because of a few poor people. Or illegals or whoever else the elites try to use as a scapegoat of the week to divide and conquer and distract as they screw all.

Don't like the directionwe are headed? Stop watching their media and buying the useless shit they tell you need. Its all a lie. Starve the beast and take the system back. Or just keep giving them your money to use to screw you harder. Your choice to be a consumerist tool or not. Capitalism/consumerism is a participatory sport. If no one shows up to play -game over.

Yeah and non participation will help that? The only time they participate civiclly is when they need something? Good little slaves. Pay em just enough so they don't riot.
