what's the button again if i what to boot of cd on imac

i insert the restore imac disk but it won't let me go to cd after clicking it. i forgot to press what command to boot to cd.
and if i want to reset the whole computer, there's 2 or 3 keys to press together, what's is it?

you can usually boot to a cd on an imac by holding down the c button.

You mean like clear the PRAM? If that is the case, If I recall correctly, It is ctrl+command(apple key)+p+r all at the same time when booting.
Booting to CD is done by holding the c key while booting.

i did try that but it went staight to the desktop and ignore the crtl+apple key+r+p while them down. is there another way?
