Right, I remember seeing Amanda Peet in Saving Silverman. I think older girls like her and the other Amanda (Detmer?) could and should bring out more fans than the younger ones, but it is not happening now.

You guys wait until you see that new King Arthur movie with Keira playing Guinevere.

It's because most people are gullible and will jump on whatever trend Hollywood force feeds them. Remember how many people liked Vanilla Ice? His suckage was as obvious to a few people then as it is to everyone now. Just like it's 'coo' to be a 'gangsta' now. Give it 20 years and your children will laugh and call you an idiot for behaving that way.

The Olsen twins look like children to me (I'm 26). Knightly is fine, but still a bit young for me, though I wouldn't turn her down outright if I met her. Everyone has their own tastes, but the model scene and Hollywood have convinced the boys of this forum that the skinny-as-a-ten-year-old-boy look is 'hot'. I think Jennifer Love Hewitt is gorgeous but I see some people here consider her fat. That just makes me shake my head.

Some people also think younger automatically means better looking. While that may be true usually, to an extent, there are some people that seem to get better with age. The woman I'm currently dating just turned 40 this week. She's a former model from Europe. At 40, she still turns many heads and I get the 'evil look' from the guys when I'm walking with her. 😉
 
Lohan is at least pretty and has a gorgous young body,the Olsen twins? somebody needs to hospitalize them soon before they starve to death right in front of us.

and if Knightly qualifies as an "older" actress at age 19 heaven help us all.
 
Aren't the Olsen twins 18 now? I'm not sure why anyone would want to date one of those stick figures, but at least they're legal now.

It doesn't matter as almost all of these guys have no chance.

There was a guy Alex I set up with a friend of mine that was a little nerdy too. They were to meet at a Barnes and Noble...she got there first, he got there about 5mins late, saw her then saw a friend and went and talked to him for 1 hour about whatever the thing is you dress up like an animal (I call it furry but that's is different).

She called me and walked over to them to say goodbye after I heard the conversation.

He tried to tell me the next day she just took off :roll:

Fact is any new chick in the spotlight is enough for these leg humpers to perk up.

To me a hot chick is one I can touch and take home. Chances are even if I was a celeb nut I could find a twin downtown somewhere.

The seriously bad thing is there is men in their 40's and 50's with shrines in their homes/apartments for these women and they will talk to their new g/f's about 'she comes first in my life' as if they are a couple....

No love for them from me... I like the exotic look of Jessica Alba and Keira isn't too far from that look either. As for attractiveness - age doesn't matter unless you're 35+ and it's visible.

I've asked coworkers who are early-mid-30s... I asked if their taste in women changes with age and they confirmed it does... a 35-year old guy would find a near-40 year old acceptably attractive/desirable. Just something I've always wondered..

Well, when I was 16-18 years old, I liked girls that age.

My tastes haven't changed, they've just expanded. Now I like them 16 and up to my current age. 😉
If they looked good back then, they still look good now.

Well interesting story one guy was in his 50's he didn't have a 'Britney Spears' (not her but I can't remember the hot thing back around the mid 90's) fetish with pictures and posters around his shag pad, but ever worse....he was a regional manager of a big liquor chain and other night spots for about 40 years (his whole life), he looked like the guy on the signs they had...he was a big, bearded, grizzly 1970's looking guy, but laid back as hell and actually a fun person to hang with.

His place as sort of cool, anything you wanted to drink, plenty of couches, drugs if you wanted that, and freaking a half dozen 18? to 20-30 somethings half naked to pretty much nude girls partying all definitely in shape and good looking. Dude had a top set of dentures but pulled in some quality women less than 1/2 his age...looking back just 'kids' to him, but also looking back they were mostly legal and hot and if I were to choose not marrying definitely one of the options I'd want to go with. One night some husband came looking for his wife and told him if he didn't send her out he'd 'f' him up. Well 'Joe' says he will be right back (we had got up to help as prior to this the guy was kicking the front door but he put his hand up to stop us from doing anything)....well he comes back with a freaking chromed out hand cannon and opens the door firing one into the air (I know stupid and dangerous and it scared the crap out of all of us and the husband went running, but this guy was the definition of both stupid and dangerous and perhaps a half dozen other not so good things)...next thing we know cops are there (and I am thinking I am going to be spending the rest of the night and half the day in jail). Nothing really happened though, the cops asked her if she was ok, she said she didn't want to go home because her husband was a homicidal bast...d or something vulgar like that. They first asked if he had a gun and was it fired and he said no, got his permit / license and asked the cop if he wanted to see the gun and the cop said to take him to the gun which he did, but he told the cop he only told the guy 'after' he was told he'd be beaten up that he did have a gun and we all agreed that was the story (no one else in the neighborhood said anything luckily), they asked if they could see everyone's ID as it was apparent we were drinking....we all agreed...they gave us a lecture about how she should really be in a different atmosphere or whatever ....that was that and him and the guy's wife went upstairs.

It was a fun place to crash at as he was literally a block from the downtown area and I was usually still f'd up by closing time and if I didn't have a chick to take me to her place I would need to crash at a strip club until I became able to drive 🙂 tipping or sipping gets expensive and I wasn't about to take a strip club chick home. If he was up and partying it was the best option 🙂

Now 10 years later I look at that a little differently...perhaps in another 10 years it may seem absurd.

Funny I IMDB'd Knightly to see how old she was and that was my exact reaction. I still remember when I was a kid thinking that Elizabeth Montgomery, Audrey Hepburn, Doris Day, and other actresses of their generation were gorgeous. What a surprise to find out later that at that time they were all my mother's age. :Q

Speaking as a 33 year old I don't agree. My friends my age wouldn't either.

You may grow accept older women, but your original savoring doesn't change. I have always liked late 30/early 40's women, I don't know why....I have never really cared for the under 21 group. In my mid 20's I got brave enough to go for the older hot chicks the office all wanted to bang.

My wife is 10 years older than me yet most think she is much younger....I have no idea how it works.

Some of my friends love young chicks, they can't always get them so they settle...then a young available chick comes along and they mess up Ms. Oldy but a Goody 🙂.

Rinse and repeat.
