thanks for your reply. I thought so. I saw kingmax is officially approved for this mobo but not sure about geil and other brand. I have read that geil are pretty good ram.

What about the speed? I saw geil has 3500 that's about 90 while 3200 is about 82. Should I get 3500?

well, another question on ram, do I really need 1gig? I do a bit gaming, a bit of video editing and here and ther other stuffs. I wonder would 1 gig really makes a difference. I am expecting RAM to go down price a bit (I hope), so I am curious, would 1 gig really makes a difference?

Also, whjen we choose ram, would 3700 rated be better, I saw kingmax has pc3700 for like 88, while 3200 is 80. Which one should I buy?

1GB does make a difference now for high-end stuff like gaming or video editing. It's not worth the price difference for low latency RAM, as there's very little performance difference (4% max on the Athlon 64, 7% max on the Pentium 4) for more than double the cost. RAM rated faster than PC3200 is for overclocking. Otherwise there's no difference.

Micron/Cruicial is good, cheap, reliable RAM. The value RAM from Corsair, etc. is probably also a good deal.

Kingston man kingston! You can always depend on kingston for best price performance ratio.(It's my two bit's worth)
