Just got a new PC, and now I need to transfer all of my old files to my new PC from my old one. The files are mostly e-mail, Word and Excel docs, etc. The old PC does not have a CDR drive, so my other two options are to set up a 'Null Modem' serial cable between the PC's or use a ZIP drive, and a few 100MB diskettes. Which would be the quickest??
I've never set up a serial connection between two PC's before to transfer files, is it easy, or hard?

Is there a web site out there that will tell/show me how to set up a serial connection to do this, if so, please give me the site address.

Thanks a lot.

Install your old hard drive in new computer, copy the files you want to new drive, remove old drive and put back in old computer!
