Hi
whats the best way to save your Windows files (i.e.) Win.ini, Config.sys. Stuff like that ? I am using WinME so what would you suggest are the real important ones to always backup ?

Thanks

Backing up your data should be the top priority. If Windows decides to die, you'd probably be better off reinstalling and starting from scratch.

If you're somehow opposed to that, however, you should backup your registry (USER.DAT, SYSTEM.DAT), WIN.INI, SYSTEM.INI, CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT. Those files contain most of the essential settings Windows may need.
