What's the best way to remove POS thermal grease

from the core of a Tbird ? I want to replace it with Artic Silver. Is nail polish remover OK ?

Yep. Works great. You can finish up with some isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol as well...

nail polish remover works great. if it gets messy WD40 works well to clean most of it off.

First wipe it off a little with something, then use rubbing alchohol to get the residue off. Otherwise you'll just smear it all over the place.
