Acetylene torch should do the job, and are commonly available for brazing. Acetylene burns at 3200 °C ~ 3500 °C which is more than enough to toast whatever magnetic domains exist on the platters, not to mention melting the whole damn thing. I also like the grinder idea, turn the platters into little dust particles.
