I tried superglue but it keeps falling back off

I scrape the glass clean then use a bit of alcohol to clean the glass before a use the superglue...but it will last about a week before it falls back off

any suggestions on what glue to use?

Go get a 60 second epoxy. My mirror fell off, then I went and got the "mirror glue" stuff for cars and that only lasted for about 6 months. I've had the 60 second epoxy on for a year+ and it shows no signs of getting loose.

I just had mine fixed by a guy at a carwash who glues back tons of these becasue when the cars go from hot sun, to cool washing, and back to hot sun, it makes them fall off sometimes.
he said don't use the kit
don't use gel super glue
use regular super glue - hold it in place for one min - then don't touch it for 24 hours
So you have to position it the enxt day
if you position it after 15 mins, it will fall off in a about a week.

Take it to an auto glass shop and let them do it. It usually costs only a little more than the DIY kits, and they almost always guarantee their work...I think the last one I had done cost $7.50
