Whats the best way to gift wrap a bottle?

go to a gift store or hallmark or something and get a bag for it... my mom works for a beer & wine distributor, and usually around the holidays her work gets all kinds of bags to put a bottle of wine in... i'm sure you can get them someplace.

otherwise, just wrap the paper around the bottle and twist the ends.... like a... hand rolled cigarette...kinda
 
Either get a special bag, or lay the bottle on it's side on the paper, fold it up over the bottom, roll it up, tape it, tie it at the neck with ribbon. Or use a nice piece of cloth/cloth napkin/dishcloth, set the bottle in the middle, bring up the material and tie it around the neck with ribbon.
 
Get some tissue paper. Wrap it in a few pieces. Just stand the bottle in the middle of the paper and bring the paper up over the bottle. If that doesn't work, buy a bag for it.
