I am trying not to use a KVM extender (bad luck with them - interference with radios)..

I want to extend 1920x1200 video 100ft.. It does not have to be perfect - but it must be usable..

Should I just use a DVI to analog converter and run a high-quality analog cable 100ft? From my experience, a DVI signal does not seem to work well with long runs..

Should I use hdmi? I'm extending to Dell 24" lcd monitors..

analog is a bad idea

i think you can run the dvi as hdmi for that far

check the a/v forum pretty sure jello is running something along that distance

try using a cat 5 adapter like the one posted above. Fiber optic is another option but usually pricey.
