I'm planning to do some major video editing in the near future, i'm leaning on Ulead VideoStuido 9. What are your thoughts?
The good: New wizard for quickly burning video to DVD; QuickScan feature shows scenes on DV tape in minutes; includes advanced tools and effects, such as ripple editing and chroma key; supports flash animation overlays.
The bad: Effects render poorly; no DivX support; MPEG-4 requires a separate plug-in that costs $29.99.
The bottom line: Ulead has greatly improved VideoStudio with tools for all levels of users, though it's not without its problems
