Trying to find out what the best video capture card is, looking for something to capture video from camcorder or VCR then want to archive it to CDR for long term storage. Would also be nice if it worked as a TV tuner, and recorder like Tivo. Is this too much to ask for in one product. TIA

I use my AIW 7500 for that purpose...works great, add a firewire card for dv capture, or get the AIW 8500dv which includes it. The AIW cards are a nice mature product, with great functionality and include a great remote as well.

It seems to me that you have exactly described my ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder. I use it to capture MTV videos, converted my VHS copy of Dawn of the Dead to VCD, and play Counter-Strike and even UT3000 (at low resolutions and such).
