What's the best thing that happened to you in 2005?

For me? I began posting at ATOT big time. I joined in 2001, but from 2001 - 2004, I really only posted technical problems. My post count was probably like 100 or so by the time 2005 rolled around. Then I figured I was REALLY out of date with hardware, so I tried to pick up stuff and I posted a crapload in GH and Video and CPUs so that my post count hit around 250 by April.

Then I was really serious about the computer by June, and at the same time I got a job which turned out to be quite boring. I thus discovered ATOT. Gosh. Post count hit 1000 by August. 2000 in like October or so. Crap. 3000 by December. Goodness. What's happening to me? Gotta say I love it though.

After some health issues with my mom that forced me to stop my job hunt after graduation in May 2004 so I could help out around the house for her and my sister, I got my first real job out of college back in May of 2005.

She's better now, yes. Not back to where she was before a couple years ago, but she's back at work and can drive again, etc. Thank you for asking, btw.
