What's the best steering wheel for Need4Speed?

I want something with really good response, nothing cheesy. I just don't want to spend the $$$ and not get what I want. I figure some of you more experienced drivers can help a Brother out!

Is force-feedback really that big a deal? Would I be paying extra for a feature that I don't really use? I'm only asking because the model without force costs about half. LMK what you think!

Force feedback is the only way to go. The first time i played NFS High Stakes in the rain it blew my mind. It really felt like you were on wet pavement.
