Whats the best speech recognition software?

Long story short, my sister rolled her car and broke her neck in December. She likes to use the computer and we need to know what kinds of speech recognition software there is and how it works. I personally have never dealt with it at all, hell never even looked into it as I had no reason to.
Any info at all would be greatly appreciated!
 
I've got a friend who's been happy using Dragon Naturally Speaking 7.3. I think others here have said that version 8 is even better.
 
From what I have heard, Dragon Naturally Speaking 8 is not much better than the Microsoft Office's speech recognition component. If you already have it, give it a try before looking elsewhere.
 
I read an article on the Dragon Naturally speaking version 8, and the reviewer had a 97% accuracy rate within 2 hours. Sounds pretty good to me, and sorry about your sister.
