what's the best software to create mirror images on W2K?

I'm going to do a bit of reformatting on my rig for educational purposes...and reinstalling EVERYTHING from scratch would seem to be a rather non-fun duty. I heard of a program called GHOST...what does it do and is it of use in my situation? Any other software out there which may be useful to me?

Norton Ghost and PowerQuest's Drive Image Pro make a Image of your enire hard drive or partition. You then can just restore the Image instead of having to re-install everything.

Drive Image Pro Is a little faster and compresses better then Ghost but both do basicly the same thing. Either one is a great choice.
