What's the best socket A hsf?

My Athlon xp 2400 idles around 53C... which is pretty hawt...
so.. lookin for a new HSF... any suggestions?

The real question is why dump another $35 + shipping into a Socket A system?

If you're going to get that, make sure you get the $5 retention bracket while you can so it'll still be usable on a newer system.

I'd get the Zalman 7000B for $31. It has all the stuff to hook it up to any CPU.

well... i've thought that way too.. but if i build another system.. im going to get new HSF unit for it.. so watever HSF unit i get right now.. will stay with it.. so i have no concern regarding the compability issues w/ other sockets...

I suggest you get it from jab-tech.com. They even give you a break on the price of the fan if you need it.
