Clear blue and sunny (hot)?
Coastal overcast?
Mild, sunny, puffy white clouds?

For me, it's bright colored fading sunset at the end of a very hot day - nice cooling off twighlight period.

Sunny, with enough clouds to not make it hot, and a nice spring breeze

I should do slogans for laundry detergents :p

For taking pictures I like a nice, clear, deep blue sky, preferrably in the morning before the haze comes out. Seeing a nice blue sky generally makes me happy.

Prairie rolling clouds where the sky just doesn't ever end. Nothing better.

Sun is shinin' in the sky
There ain't a cloud in sight
It's stopped rainin' ev'rybody's in a play
And don't you know
It's a beautiful new day hey,hey

Runnin' down the avenue
See how the sun shines brightly in the city
On the streets where once was pity
Mister blue sky is living here today hey, hey

Mister blue sky please tell us why
You had to hide away for so long
Where did we go wrong?

Hey you with the pretty face
Welcome to the human race
A celebration, mister blue sky's up there waitin'
And today is the day we've waited for

Hey there mister blue
We're so pleased to be with you
Look around see what you do
Ev'rybody smiles at you

Mister blue sky, mister blue sky
Mister blue sky

Mister blue, you did it right
But soon comes mister night creepin' over
Now his hand is on your shoulder
Never mind I'll remember you this
I'll remember you this way

Mister blue sky please tell us why
You had to hide away for so long
Where did we go wrong?

Hey there mister blue
We're so pleased to be with you
Look around see what you do
Ev'rybody smiles at you
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba
Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba

PS - Poll?

No poll - I want to see how people describe their answers. How could you fit all the possible skies into a single poll?

The deep purple of a very severe thunderstorm cut down the middle by lightning. I miss storms.

This post does not count.

My dad, every time he is struck by the beauty of a sunset says, after describing the colors in detail "Well... you'll never see another one like it"....

Personally I like twilight... it's at this time when the sky is still visible but the depths of space are beginning to peak through that one really gets a sense of how small one is.

Mmm, stars coming out? Yeah. I like that too, but it's better on clear nights in winter than in the summer, because summer dust obstructs the view. The milky way is gorgeous on summer nights at about 2 am (where I'm from, anywho.)

I used to go out and sit on hilltops in Ohio during storms and watch them roll through. They like me.

It's dark out and as a result I can't see right now. Earlier on it was mostly cloudless and around 90F.

Here's another nice sky:

On the top of Klein Matterhorn in Switzerland. I had to take a picture because the sky looked uncommonly dark up there.

Also, the cable car ride is very entertaining.

That's quite exciting also. Thunderstorms are very entertaining.
For me there's a definite feeling involved with them. I am almost addicted to the way the air feels before and during a storm. It's soothing. Calming. It's like a kindred spirit visiting, something that latches on to the things inside me; something of which I am a part. It pulls on me, calls to me. The sky is associated with those feelings and I can't help but keep it as my favorite.
