Like what I did when I was brand spankin' new to the industry (oh wait, I still pretty much am), was read these forums for about a couple months. Then you get to see trends and certain patterns that people utilize for successful overclocks. Though I'm not saying to wait for two months before you tweak that chip (cause it's getting old), I'm saying that it'll be a while before you get the hang of everything.
Anyway, first check what kind of chip that is. If it's a TBred-B then you can most likely hit 2ghz. So, without adjusting the voltage, bump it slowly up to 2ghz. If it locks up on you before that, then increase the voltage slightly. Otherwise, if you have decent air-cooling, you should hit it without a hitch.
