What's the best resource for learning Dreamweaver?

What, in your opinion, is the best resource for learning Dreamweaver for a complete newbie to web design?

I'm getting a book called "The Missing Manual: Creating a Website" and was thinking of grabbing their book on Dreamweaver in the same series.

But a website or other resource would be great too.

Any and all suggestions are welcome! 🙂

I have been looking into this myself and found out my local community college offers a beginners class for Dreamweaver, etc. Check your local Community College.

Yeah, the only problem with this is I don't have the time or the regular schedule to allow me to take classes, unfortunately. I've got to find some self-directed learning resources so I can learn on my own.

I just bought the Missing Manual book for Dreamweaver, so I'll try that out - but if anyone has any other suggestions, they're still welcome and appreciated!

Two online sites I can recommend for learning lots of different applications.
http://www.lynda.com/
http://www.digitaltutors.com

Both sites offer monthly subscription options where you pay a set fee and use it all you want. Lynda is $25 a month and has tons of programs and tutorials and digital tutors is $45 a month. Both work similar, they have video tutorials you can watch and files that go with them. Or you can buy specific courses on DVD .
