Vote for your favorite region of the united states and state why

I picked Midwest, because the rest of your other regions are fake and not keeping it real. We party, the rest of you worry about stuff like culture and trying to stay healthy. Also, when you all fly over us, you have no clue how awesome of a time we are having. You ever been to Iowa? I haven't either, but I imagine its amazing.

It has to be somewhere on the left coast...

I like the PNW...not as hot as CA, more rain, nice and green.

BUT, depending on where you're at, CA is nice too. I don't care much for big cities, so SF and LA suck to me...but the coastal areas are nice.

You seem to have left out the SE and the NW. Why do I get the impression you live in the East? :)

You know, I spent maybe 2 minutes trying to figure out which region to choose since there doesn't appear to be any official region list. I think I picked the one that was the most generic.

I would consider southeast to be pretty much the South, except Florida of course. Everything north of virginia on the atlantic is "east coast" to me, but apparently there is a distinction between new england and other east coast states.

Midwest for sure! Iowa is amazing, everyone needs to try Ragbri at least once.

Hawaii, but I haven't been there in ages.

Loved it when I did live there a few years, he he.

And Alaska very nice but cold, I've only visited there.

I have been all over the US and each place has its own pluses & minuses.

Where I live now, southwest:
Great Mexican food, nice winters. Horrible summers, no bbq

My favorite place to live would be San Diego - loved it when I was in the navy. Great city but too damn expensive for me to survive in.

I also love San Diego. Perhaps the most perfect climate in the country...but as you mentioned, pretty expensive to live there.

I love the upper midwest. Feels like home, and I'll probably be here a long time.

I'm going to vote Hawaii. Yes, it's bit of a dump but at least it's a dump in paradise and it's not Florida. I'd probably rate New England second, in the summer and fall anyway.

The Pacific Northwest is one of those places that's nice to visit but you wouldn't want to live there. I know a few people who lived in Vancouver BC. It's grey and rains constantly for half the year. They'd actually rather put up with the cold winters here because at least you still see the sun.

Voted southwest because I've spent 99.9% of my life in former territory of Mexico (the rest was in Hawaii and a brief trip to Juarez). If I've never seen it, it may as well not exist. :colbert:

west coast should have been on its own. but the west is the clear winner.
