What's the best price/performance cooling option for AMD 64 3000 90nm + Asus A8V Deluxe?

This is the system I'm building:

AMD 64 3000+ 90nm
Asus A8V Deluxe mobo
BFG 6800 GT
Crucial Ballistix RAM PC3200 (2x512MB)
ANTEC Performance Plus Case with 430W PSU

Since the 90nm CPU only comes OEM I need some sort of heatsink/fan combo but I'm not sure what to get. There's a ton of options out there and I need something with a good value that also allows me to OC my cpu.

I need something available at newegg since that's where I'm buying all of my parts. What can you guys recommend?

Also, I was originally considering the AMD 64 3500+ instead of the 3000+ 90nm, was it a good decision to go with the 90nm?

The ThermalTake Silent Boost K8 looks perfect. I assume it doesn't require any additional parts?

The Thermalright XP-90 is better, but does not include a fan in the price of $40.

Sorry for the dumb question but for the XP-90...is there a fan you need to get that fits right on top of the heat sink or are you talking about a case exhaust fan?

Do NOT get a Thermaltake. Just look at some good reviews at systemcooling.com or silentpcreview.com and you will see that there are much better hsf in the same price range.
At 30$ you should get the Zalman 7000A AlCu. It outperforms the Silent Boost and is more "silent"; it also comes with a fan controller. If you want anything better get the Thermalright XP-90, it is certainly worth the money and may yield you a higher overclock.

The XP-90 will work with any 80mm or 92mm (case-)fan.
