What's wrong with the Motorola T-720? You can be online with it (free) while it's charging.

You don't need to renew at all if you keep your phone, just so you know.

Your choice: LG VX-4400, or LG VX-6000. Those two are widely considered two of the best, with the VX-6000 being particularly outstanding, without even considering the fact that it has a cheap little digi-cam built in.

-Please share some info. I have it, and am using Verizon. I remember reading something on some batteries about them not being compatible with Verizon phones, but I bought an aftermarket battery through ebay 1200maH or something like that for $18 and it works great! My cousin bought the same thing after going with Samsung and finding that he couldn't stay online with it for long because the battery died and there was no way to charge while plugged in to the net.

Thinking of getting the VX-6000 for $150 when my fiancee switches to Verizon in late October... any reason she shouldn't go for that phone then ?

Got mine from the local Verizon shop..... its like $129 after a 50 dollar rebate (you of course have to sign like a 2 year contract though).

Whats wrong with your VX4400?? Verizon Wireless T730

I played around with both.....
The LG VX4400 has a few more minutes talk time life on the battery and a better user interface within the phone
The Moto T730 has a bit larger screen (probably why it doesn't get the extra 20 minutes of talk time the LG does) and has more memory for storage for ring tones and numbers and such.

The LG VX6000 is 250 dollars with a 50 dollar rebate for a one year contract, and 200 bucks with a 50 dollar rebate for a two year contract. Anybody had any luck getting it for cheaper?

They had it for 189 after the 50 dollar rebate here near Chattanooga, TN.

One or two year contract? I really don't want to sign a two year contract.

The 6000 is advertised in all Verizon Wireless stores here at $150 after a 1-yr agreement... otherwise $200.

the VX4400 is a great phone, but I am tired of getting dropped calls when I am in my house. I will have 3-4 bars, yet the phone will not hold a call for more than 2 minutes. I had the phone less than 6 months, and I can barely go 2 days without charging it.

how much is it, without the contract?
