I had a blackberry pearl, and switched to the Dash. In my Opinion for my use (email, pictures, messaging, and phone) the dash is the superior phone.

The only drawback to the dask is there is no real headphone jack. I like the location of the SD card, but I want a real headphone jack to use it as an MP3 player. Oh, and before anyone says anything about using bluetooth for mp3, bluetooth crushes the highs in any song format, so its not good enough.

anyone have any experience with the Internet Speeds on the T-mobile GSM network?

I'm currently with Sprint and I'm very satisified with the speed... having heard that CDMA is superior in technology compared to GSM, how is the speed?

I decided to get the dash

after I use it until I get tired of it, I'll upgrade to an unlocked phone in a year or two

I've got a 6131 ( same but different market IIRC ) and it's been good..

Dash is good, but I find the microsoft smartphone OS a bit clunky at times. I liked the Nokia S60 smartphone OS that I used before better. T-Mobile's EDGE data network is about 130kbit/s around here in Miami.
