What's the best Personal CD Player?

I need a good one that doesn't break the wallet. Something that plays CDRs well and doesn't eat up batteries and doesn't skip. Anyone have suggestions?

You saying they don't make such a thing?
 
I just two days ago had my panasonic discman die on me. But, I'd had it for over three years using it a lot. I bought it from amazon for a decent price a while back and it was good the whole time (until it just died, that is). It played CD-Rs like a champ. Try and find yourself an MP3 one though.
