Total Annihilation is still the top on my list! Followed closely by these...
Red Faction
Diablo2 and expansion
Neverwinter Nights
C&C Generals w/zero Hour expansion
Enemy Territory
Well I guess it's time to give my age away. I like these games because they started my addiction to FPS.
Remember .EXE
Wolfenstein 3D
Wolfenstein 3D Spear Of Destiny ( the original sequal to Wolfenstein 3D )
Blake Stone Aliens Of Gold
Blake Stone Planet Strike
I still love playing these games. Memories. And I still have 2 of these games on 5 1/2" floppy. Damn, am I that old. Oh well my 3 grand daughters don't think so. Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down.
Someone should make a poll out of this. Take maybe the top 10 to 15 responses from these posts and then make a poll. That way people can only vote for one. It would be interesting to see the reults of what the majority of ATOT rates as the best game of all time.
Total Annihilation - I can't believe you guys actually knew about this game. I loved playing this back in the day on Heat.net. I'd love to get a copy and start playing again. We should petition for a new version 🙂
Honorable mentions:
Splatterball (Back in the day AOL pay-per-hour game by Mythic. I believe Splatterball+ is still out)
Natural Selection 2.0
Doom
Duke Nukem Series
Baldur's Gate
