Hi.

I have not oc'd anything before and i just want to know whats the best ocing tool out there.

Some say coolbits some say Riva or Powerstrip, are there any diff bet these programs?

Also can you only use some programs for a NV card and a ATI card or could any one of thouse programs work with any make of video cards.

Thanks.

It is usually personal preference.

Both sets of drivers offer you a auto-overclocking function to find stable overclocking frequencies. untily uo do a little more research, just stick with those. As for programs ..

ATI Tray Tools is a popular for overclocking and adjusting ati cards. Great app, still working out a few things with the 1k series. I dislike the ccc, so i am using ati tray tools and the latest drivers.

For NV, Coolbits seems to be what I hear most. Powerstrip use to be very good when I used it a few years back, but not sure now.
