What's the best OS?

Naturally, I couldn't include every operating system.

I didn't include specific Linux distros or seperate Win ME and 2000 as I felt it to be impertinent. For all practical purposes, they are the same.

'Linux' is like saying 'Microsoft OS', only then even broader.

I'd say it depends what you want the OS for. As gaming OS most likely XP, for serious work FreeBSD, for firewalls OpenBSD.

Why can't you split up the groups properly. Why is there not a different group for 95/98 and nt/2k/xp?

If you didn't notice you split Macs up into Mac 9/OS X;roll;
