Ameritrade is what I use, and have no complaints. Only 8.00/trade and I think they've got a promotion going on with 25 commission-free trades in your first month or something to that effect.

If you want no frills trading, Datek is one of the fastest! Plus, they give you 'the streamer' which lets you get streaming real-time quotes for 40 stocks at a time.

It's 9.99 a trade, market or limit order.

I use Charles Schwab, but I trade very infrequently. They also have an office a few minutes from me where I can walk in and talk to a (gasp!) real person if I need to.
